Last year with the Buccaneers, recorded 1,200 all-purpose yards, a number that includes s career-high 523 receiving yards on a notable 73 catches.

Fournette has a terrific postseason resume - in nine playoff games he’s scored 10 TDs - and in theory would at this time - or maybe at training camp in five weeks - would come at an affordable price.

Just don't see how they do that barring any injuries or setbacks at this point, but I'm sure LF is on the rolodex, right there with Zeke just in case.

Gronk pitches the services of a former teammate? What a revelation. Maybe better than Zeke...but...

End of the day it's like the Neil Young song,
"I've seen the carries and the damage done
A big attrition out of every one.
But every back is like a setting' sun"

They will go into TC with the roster they have. And see what happens. Don't expect any changes at RB until after a few PS games.

The only roster move is to bring in another K. Heck maybe 2, since there are 2 open roster spots. Last time I seen anyway, 2 open.

Leonard Fournette ain't going through nobody's training camp. Is he better than the backs on the Jonesboys roster? YES. But, it would be a final week of training camp signing and have him ready for the first game of the regular season. He will be out of shape in training camp. But he would use the training camp weeks to get in shape so if you just want him on the roster and not playing in the preseason games or on the training field as mortar fire, then fine. But if you think he is going to go through the rigors of training camp you don't know Fournette like I know Fournette.

No

and if our fans hated Zeke they'll hate Fournette but they'll also hate it when we wont sign him either
But Jay we need a back that can get 1 yard But i dont want more than the 1 yard we need!!!! How are we gonna use 3 backs that are fast enough to get 1 yard and maybe take it to the house...who does that?????

I have to imagine Jerry would bring Zeke back before another vet RB in rapid decline. Fournette is probably a better receiver than Zeke, but the Cowboys already have two of those projected to be on the roster already in Pollard and Vaughn....of course, Vaughn wont be guaranteed a position going into camp.

I really just don't see a role for a guy like Fournette on the roster, at least at the moment.

Just try to trade for Derrick Henry. He hasn't shown any signs of slowing down and has at least two more elite seasons in him. Stop dicking around and just get him on this team.
While I'm all for it, what the Titans would ask for him is a huge factor here. This is most likely a 1 year rental type of situation, and the guy has had his YPC reduced from 4.9, 5.1, and 5.4 YPC to 4.3 and 4.4 the last two seasons. Coming off a near 400 touch season and will be 30 years old by the end of the season. Of course even a declining Henry fills the RB2 void really well as a complement to Pollard, but do you give up a premium pick and pay another big money RB for a rental? Not saying you don't but I certainly understand any hesitancy to do so.

Who gets 1 yard?
Are we really asking this?
