Last year with the Buccaneers, recorded 1,200 all-purpose yards, a number that includes s career-high 523 receiving yards on a notable 73 catches.

Fournette has a terrific postseason resume - in nine playoff games he’s scored 10 TDs - and in theory would at this time - or maybe at training camp in five weeks - would come at an affordable price.

Fournette is probably better than Jones. Not sure how in shape he is. He had so many receiving yards last year because the Oline was soo bad they were getting him the ball more in with the pass.

Cowboys probably went with the -ex Bucs RB who they thought would be more affordable, met their asking price, approved of his game tape.
vs Leonard Fournette

I have a feeling that Leonard gave his all --- or possibly what is left --- and the tank is almost empty.

I'd rather go with our young guys. Let them sink or swim and sort out who should sub in for Pollard from time to time.

Fournette is done. Maybe a small backup role but the cowboys don't have a roster space to waste.

They will go into TC with the roster they have. And see what happens. Don't expect any changes at RB until after a few PS games.

The only roster move is to bring in another K. Heck maybe 2, since there are 2 open roster spots. Last time I seen anyway, 2 open.
When does the USFL season end? I would expect the kicker(s) to come then. Dallas needs to do what it did with Turpin, the league MVP last year, go after the best of the bunch and get them in here.

My two would still be Matt Coghlin 18-19 FGs (95 percent) and 25-25 PATs and/or Brandon Aubrey 14-15 (93 percent) and 35-35. As I've mentioned before, Aubrey is from Texas, went to high school in Plano.

The FO thought that we were all set at the WR corp last season. they gambled on a recovering Gallup to be a solid #2 and we see how that worked out

This year they probably think we are good with a recovering injured Pollard, a Ronald Jones that barely sniffed 1000 yards once in 5 years of trying, a Malik that they didn’t even have enough faith to put in that critical game against the Niners when Pollard went down, and 5’5” Vaughn who’s never seen an NFL game except on TV.

Im not saying it has to be Fournette , but there’s no reason not to get PROVEN veteran talent at the RB position when the NFC is historically weak again.

We already been through this discussion on Fournette, Gronk's views doesn't change that YPC lower than what Zekes was.

More often than not Fournette's season ypc was < 4.0.

Zeke did it once and we were done with him.
