The Cowboys signed defensive tackle Carlif Taylor on Friday, per NJ.com.

Taylor was released by the Giants after the team's first preseason game. To make room for Taylor, Dallas released offensive lineman Cody Clay.

I played with David Hill, Ernest Price, Levi Johnson, Dwight Harrison, Eldridge Small, and Don Hardeman...who all went into the Pros. But get this, they were from a single team playing NAIA football. Texas A&I...and nobody but us were watching. Oh, and they were there two seasons after Eugene Upshaw was drafted from the Javelinas by Oakland.

All but Hardeman played in a Pro Bowl!!

I hear ya, I would never (in seriousness) knock a new aquisition based solely on draft status or experience. I know that any one of these guys has the potential to be a star (numerous examples have played on this team alone).
