Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign CB Cobie Durant

Yep, well said.
Me and you would have been a sight together watching the games and suffering from our Murray influenced PTSD attacks.

Right on brother.
Murray struggled but Osa and Thomas didn't do him any favors...especially in that Detroit game. They were both horrible against the run. Exposed over and over again. Probably why both aren't on the roster anymore. That game probably helped facilitate their exit. They were THAT bad as a tandem.

I don’t think they will add another DB outside of maybe Delane in the draft if he falls.

Starters are likely Bland, Durant, Steward. Thompson will kick in the slot on certain formations. Revel, Carson and Butler are good enough depth. I think they likely try and push Carson due to being pretty deep
IMO Reddy Steward isn't very good. If they don't draft a top guy, which I think they will, it should be Revel as the other starter.

Yeah I like this signing it's stop gap kind of like Gilmore was, But anybody who thinks because it's a one year deal he can't at least try to fit in and become a starter, they're not looking deep enough. I dont Like a bunch of one year stopgap players but maybe he earns an extension here, but this is another Parker guy...

He definitely likes to come up, and tackle cover he's aggressive, I mean we're not talking about a premium starter but he's a good player..
NOT scrap-heap level. He could very well end up a starter. Excellent insurance policy.

Solid guy. Not scrap-heap fodder. Great depth piece if nothing else. At some point in the season you might have to lean on him. He could end up being a starter if Revel or Bland turn up lame. Still need that CB in the first round imo.
Totally agree. Lots of work to do.

I think we still need a corner. DT isn't an urgent need
We just traded away 2 DTs. We spent most of our formal visits on DT I think people should be prepared for a rd 1 DT.

Sure we need a cb but a must have rd 1 is what I meant.

Considering we know absolutely nothing about Bland and Revel at this point, I think we still draft a CB in the first 2-3 rounds.
CB, LB, Edge, S, DT/DE……I’ll be shocked if we don’t draft one of each, doubling up at some point. Possibly a TE as well.
I just meant no a need or forced pick in rd 1

The question is, will it be enough to get the Cowboys to at least the Championship Game. The goal shouldn't be a 1 playoff game and out.
The plan is to get there. How far we go is always gonna depend on our best players. If Dak is gonna wet the bed none of it matters. If Quinnen isn’t gonna show up it doesn’t matter. Our best players need to perform.

Key Performance Insights
  • Volatile Consistency: While his 2025 season saw elite weekly highlights—such as a 94.6 grade against the Raiders—he also struggled in the postseason, being credited with allowing three touchdowns in the playoffs alone.
  • Versatility: Durant has transitioned from a premier rookie slot corner (where he allowed a 48.7 passer rating in 2022) to a boundary staple for the Rams over the last two seasons.

This signing is probably your new slot corner. No way he's worse then Elam.
Much better player than Elam. Bryant is a solid player. But at the same time, there's a reason why a Super Bowl contender like the Rams felt they had to spend big $ on 2 new CBs and let him walk. But ultimately for this team, it's an upgrade and he's arguably the 2nd bet CB on the roster.

Rams though after he had a great rookie year in the slot moved him outside out of necessity. I don't think 5-10 180 on the outside is ideal.
