Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign DE Dante Fowler

Nice signing. I think Lawrence is still the better player but he cost more. So Dallas saves money and has a chance to just slightly get worse at DE. Although if Kneeland takes a step up and Wiliams can play to teams expectations, they should be ok there.

Unbelievable

He was not good enough 2 years ago to keep ....... now he is their big signing free agent .....

And they are saving money for what?

Well, he had a good season that earned him some money, but he also was playing with some strong DTs.

With Parsons and our newly minted Osa he shouldn't have much excuse.
He had those guys before. I don't mind the signing at all. Our DEs are Parsons, Kneeland, Fowler, Williams and Turner.

DT still needs some work with Mazi, Odighizuwa, Thomas and Rogers.

I think Solomon should help in the rotation. From a pressure stand point this group should be pretty solid.

When he had those guys before he wasn't getting a ton of reps either. I think he probably starts this year.

I do think we need more at DT.

Who? Fowler? Maybe he gets more reps, but I think our run-down ends are Kneeland and Turner, so he'll come in on passing downs. It will be interesting to see how we deploy Parsons, Fowler and Williams. Not all three can play end at the same time. At this point, though, I don't know how many reps Williams is going to deserve.

Was he not good enough 2 years ago?

I doubt they expected to lose Dlaw, Sam Williams, Parsons and Kneeland last year. Dorance was good enough, not every one "good enough" gets a contract. It's a one year deal for a guy that has a little juice.

This FO leaves plenty of thing to complain about no need to dilute that with actual decent moves.

But you were promoting his 10.5 sacks ..... I just asked if he was not good enough 2 years ago ...... did any of those guys you mentioned have 10.5 sacks other than Parsons?

I was commenting on the randomness of this front office ...... their plans change on the whim of a narcissistic GM and Owner who thinks he is the smartest football mind in the room.
