I think some guy just aren't athletic and things like standing up instead of keeping pads low does not come naturally to them. Big guys especially because it saps their strength to stay low. I suppose it can be taught with enough repetitions but I don't think NFL teams have time for that. The Cowboys are desperate. One thing I do know, NFL guards stay low and will easily more him off his spot or knock him on his butt.
