This is literally what the Raiders under Al Davis were doing every off-season. The last 10 years they churned the roster on the cheap and circled the drain. They still haven't recovered. Nothing has changed. Why? Nepotism. Mark Davis running the Clown show out west and Jerry is running the Clown show out here. Really there is no difference. None. No plan seems to exist for either club. If the Raiders were smart, they would allow Brady to get involved in how the team is built. Jerry won't ever do this.

Their practice squad guys are now free agents. They can keep them by signing them to futures contracts like they just did with Jack. It's literally a minimum contract to keep their rights.

He's one of their practice squad guys and two of those teams didn't have time to even look at him. Jags had him for five days in June. Panthers at the very end of camp.
