Best ability is availability. This is a good signing.Started 17 games last season, and 30 games overall over 4 seasons in Miami.

Yeah, I honestly have a hard time accepting that a guy ranked 62 out of 64 guys at his position, is any kind of roster improvement. One teams trash is a new starter for us.
He's an improvement over getting the 63rd or 64th guys. So be happy Stephen didn't get them.Yeah, I honestly have a hard time accepting that a guy ranked 62 out of 64 guys at his position, is any kind of roster improvement.
Which is why every year we have about 20+ free agents. Rather than spend money on a proven veteran over the course of a 3-4 year contract, they go cheap hoping whom they pick up will be some one year wonder. You can't build team continuity when you're churning a third of the roster each season.Guard. But has played tackle.
Dallas literally signs guys to one year deals (Ronald Jones, Royce Freeman, Chuma Edoga) and just replaces them with more junk the next season.
Who we will tout as our starterLow level starter/good backup type.
He is probably a backup. This akin to when we signed EdogaOne of the worst Guards in football lmao how much more would Will Hernandez have costed? What a pathetic team
Probably Bass or HoffmanWho we will tout as our starter
exactly. Jerry and Stephen Jones are terrible GM's. How we watch the Commanders and Eagles (last year) make huge moves and we continue to sit on our hands, shopping in the bargain bin section.I dont think we really needed to prioritize depth. We have three guards that are better than him and Nathan Thomas might be good enough to be your 4th OG. I don't really see the point in spending cap dollars on your 4th guard
Those bashing this signing need to watch some film breakdown of the kid. He's nasty. He's still learning and getting better. I don't mind throwing a dart here and getting him. He's never hurt, played every game for Miami last year, started. The guy moves people. His best blocking is run blocking. It's his forte. He might challenge guys like Thomas, bass, and Steele. Good signing. My issue so far is we need linebackers and corners badly, did nothing there. We need to sign a vet at CB and linebacker today if possible.Robert Jones(6'4, 320) Middle Tennessee...26 yrs old
Starter at LG for the for the past year and a half for the Dolphins.
I actually really like this pick, I thought he would have gotten more than this in FA.
Drafting a G is probably off the table now. It adds enough depth.
Vet Swing Tackle is still a need. Maybe just bring Tyron Smith back on a 1 year deal.
Exactly. No way in Hades we can fill starting roles this year with all draftees. Hopefully this is not the plan.So we cleared all that cap space so we could sign more depth guys on one year deals?!
Do they know we need starters at WR, RB, DT, DE, LB, CB?
Or do they think they're signing starters?
Touche...He's an improvement over getting the 63rd or 64th guys. So be happy Stephen didn't get them.
Sorry.I am trying to positive. Don’t hit me with facts.![]()
