I'm surprised he's not on a roster. He has the size, speed and agility measurements to succeed.

Same. I know nothing about the guy. Evidently he went undrafted. Was on Dolphins, got released, and then was on the Eagles but got into an altercation with the police.

I don't know about Hamilton but Broaddus mentioned that something is definitely up with Coleman. I understand
that the Cowboys gave Ryan Williams (RB) some money to re-up for 2 years (+/- $230,000). Coleman might
have wanted to test the waters to see if he could get a better deal elsewhere.

Coleman's agent may think with 16 DLmen signed and more to come there might be a better place to go in'15.

They're both free. Jakar was released to make room for Bishop before the GB game and Davon was on the practice squad. Both may feel slighted, who knows.

I like Lavar Edwards on this kind of tryout deal. He is clearly one of those guys with the physical skills where the light hasn't gone on. If things click in training camp next year you have a good backup, if it doesn't you didn't risk anything.

Thanks for posting! Good tackler, nice range, good angles, blitzes ok, and around the ball. Like the tackling part and being around the ball although you need to see 600 snaps or more. Without seeing his backpedal, hips, stickem', and rest of pass defense can't say much. Looks like a FS to me without seeing more so don't hold me to that.

No, practice squad guys become unrestricted free agents at the end of the season. The Cowboys signed all of the other PS guys to futures contracts.
