Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign UFL RB Corbin

Camp body at rb, nothin more
True ... he is making a good impression on everybody, but the only one who isn't also impressed by Blue is Broaddus and that's because he upset his prediction about being dynamic in his rookie season. Everyone i've read or listened to other than him has talked more about Blue. We will see I guess, but I don't the competition is closed.

4.58 at his pro day. When he was 202.

Hes now 224. Best guess is he hasnt gotten faster. Hes probably around a 4.65 guy now.

Phil Mafah runs around a 4.60 as well. 10lbs heavier and more "wiggle".

Corbin is a camp body. Probably a better pass pro guy than Richardson. Will be better at protecting Howell and Milton in the second half.
So he was the same size as Blue, but way slower... sure sounds like quality competition to me. /sarcasm.

BB gets butthurt easy and holds petty grudges for years. Which is partly why he regressed as a scout and then in radio. He's too sensitive about the need to be right. Just cop to it and move on Bryan. Lol.

He was. Rebuilt his body to essentially match his speed. He understood that he's not going to win with speed or movement. Made himself into a power back and led the UFL in rushing.

Don't pay attention to the verbage in the hyperlink.. it's actually about rb2.

The battle at backup running back is hot-and-heavy, to say the very least, and it's about to go supernova after the latest transaction.
Dominic Richardson has been waived by the Cowboys and, in his place, the team has signed running back Jashaun Corbin.

I'm not actually sure what this means for the rb's we currently have on the roster, but it's interesting for sure.
Most likely camp fodder but he will get to show his stuff.

This may not be a popular opinion but I am concerned about what’s behind Javonte Williams at RB.

JW proved himself last year as an excellent back with power and a good passing outlet in the short passing game. But in today’s NFL, a really good running game needs 2 effective RBs.

What’s behind JW is a 5th round pick in Blue who is trying to prove he’s not a fumbling machine and that he can learn his responsibilities when he’s not carrying the ball. He’s talented, just not proven as reliable.

Mafah is a 7th round pick with a straight ahead running style that averaged less than 4 yards a carry last year when he played. He’s ok, just nothing that would scare a regular season NFL defense.

Malik Davis in my mind is a more proven commodity than Blue or Mafah because he is excellent on STs and can make plays in the running game on occasion. Not that I think he’s the answer either.

Bottom line for me…we need to have than what I’ve seen behind Javonte Williams. Blue and Mafah are overrated IMO. And can either be a ST contributor?
