Cowboys source, Cowboys close to deal with Osa $21 Million a year

maybe to keep him away from Washington, and for Dallas to let us know they're doing everything they can this off season

This would be a better outcome than I expected. I was ready for them to play the long game, hit him with the tag and then negotiate from there. Getting a deal done early could mean they are getting ready to actually do something in free agency??? Maybe I'm too optimistic on that one....

Maybe the DC sees something in him many of us do not. with that said I still have DT at the top of the needs list for the draft.
Honestly what do you not see in the guy? Hes a perfect fit for Eberflus if he is sticking with a 1 gap scheme. Most publications have him as a top 20ish free agent this year. I get he isnt Chris Jones or Aaron Donald, but he also isnt getting top of the position money like those guys either.

you don't think 20 million is a bit too much for a guy that's in there when we're getting ran over, and makes plays not that often ( I respect your stance on him I really do, just playing devil's advocate)

13.5 sacks in 4 years from the 3-tech and weak vs the run.
