There are quite a few OSU players projected to go in the 1st round. Those most often linked to us include:

DE Joey Bosa
RB Ezekiel Elliott

The other potential 1st rounder include:

LB Darron Lee
OT Taylor Decker
CB Eli Apple

OSU also has several players in the 2nd round range as well:

WR Michael Thomas
FS Vonn Bell
DT Adolphus Washington
LB Josh Perry

In case you are curious, I got all of the above from this site - http://gbnreport.com/2016-big-board/

Garrett had previously announced the news of the private workout on Wednesday during the NFL Annual Meeting.

"One of the challenges when you go to these big schools that have all these players on their Pro Day, it's just hard to have any access,'' Garrett said. "Everybody's there. It's a little bit of a circus.

"We had representatives at the pro day but we said, 'let's not do that. Let's see if we can arrange something else to have more personal contact with these guys.'''

As a quick refresher, here are the top draft prospects from Ohio State who the Cowboys can take a look at based off team needs:

Joey Bosa, DE — Round 1
Ezekiel Elliott, RB — Round 1
Darron Lee, OLB — Round 1
Eli Apple, CB — Round 1
Michael Thomas, WR — Round 2
Vonn Bell, SS — Round 2
Joshua Perry, OLB — Round 2
Adolphus Washington, DT — Round 2
Braxton Miller, WR — Round 2-3
Cardale Jones, QB — Round 4-5
Tyvis Powell, FS — Round 6
Jalin Marshall, WR — Round 7

Marinelli working with Bosa,if we pick Bosa then its better we switch Lawrence to RDE which is his natural position imo.

I think we are going Bosa for this very fact alone. DL is going to the right side rotating with Gregory when he gets back and Bosa will play on the left.

Someone just posted that the Cowboys aren't in love with Bosa supposedly...

Yes, that's what Marinelli was telling him in the video. In fact, both he and Garrett went to Ohio State just to tell Bosa the relationship will never work out so they should just break it off now.

I have no doubt Marinelli would stand on the table for Bosa, if Marinelli was able to get up on the table.

*(no visuals) Please explain...

Not much to explain. Garrett is standing downfield a ways from Bosa, while Marinelli is close by Bosa talking to him while Bosa appears to be on a break drinking water/Gatorade from a bottle, presumably after running a bag drill.

I am a huge die-hard Ohio State fan and that picture of Garrett and Meyer standing side by side is a beautiful sight to see. I have watched all of these draft eligible prospects for the past several years. I just don't understand why there is so much negative coming out on Bosa as far as the boom or bust factor. This kid was a GROWN MAN at 19 years old and yeah sure he may have had some issues while in Columbus but to my knowledge he has not tested positive for anything as far as illicit substances go and you have to remember that all of these kids are in their late teens, early 20's and at a campus like that where you're the talk of the town you will tend to do some stupid things. I would be thrilled with Bosa at 4. Zeke is my favorite Buckeye of all time and he is gonna be an absolute monster. A truly complete back that can do everything for you. But I have to take out my bias and say you can't draft him at 4 but if they trade down I would take him at 7 for sure. As far as the ones you aren't all familiar with, Apple has developed so quickly and has grown so well over the past two years and his stock has soared. Darron Lee is an under the radar mid first round pick that I think could be a perennial Pro Bowler and he's not only a freak athlete but a great kid. Braxton is of course your Percy Harvin H-back utility type player. Von Bell could be a very solid safety in the league for a long time. Adolphus Washington has some significant character issues and disappointed me at the end of this season. He was basically caught paying for sex and I remember watching a 2014 Season in Review on the Buckeyes' championship season and remember him having a child and a wife/girlfriend in tow. Michael Thomas will be a good #2 alongside an elite receiver and would be an upgrade to T-Will. Taylor Decker is mid 1st round LT talent but we obviously don't have a need there. Josh Perry and Tyvis Powell were both seniors. Perry is a tackling machine, team captain, and heart and soul guy. Powell was solid but very inconsistent. His grade is about right with 6th round. Cardale Jones could be JaMarcus Russell or could be Ben Roethlisberger. Cannon for an arm but raw and can be a bonehead mentally. And Jalin Marshall should never have left school. Could have had two more years to develop in Columbus. Good H-back/punt returner type. 7th round seems about right. I know this is wordy and long-winded but this about sums it up with all their prospects.

I see our RB coach working with Zeke and I think that was Darron Lee working out as well with Eberflus, perhaps Braxton Miller working out behind Garrett.

Marinelli getting a good look at Bosa!
