It turned out to be a bad trade. Quinten Williams as a DT doesn’t impact the game. Then they got the safety and DE in the 1st round. At least the safety is playing. They should have traded for next years 1st to make a play for Manning.

This isn’t about discussing whether it was a good trade or not. I think we have exhausted that discussion.

No doubt we received much in compensation . But what we have received thus far hasn’t enabled this defense and team to fully recover.

If anything this defense has continued to decline and it’s much worse in last two years than previously with Parsons.

So, do we have to wait another year and draft to begin to recover and rebuild this defense. Do we have the right coaching in place. Was our trade for Q the right use of resources???

Right now I’d argue we have more questions than answers and we haven’t recovered from Parsons trade yet.

What is eye rolly about that? Dak has had us with the number one O or a top 5 O in the league a few times the past 6 years. Go look at 2021-2023, #1, #4, and #1 ranked scoring O those three years. We were 12-5 and in the playoffs. Yes we only one like 1 playoff game, but we got there. Without a D, we have no chance of even making the playoffs.
