Cowboys still haven't recovered from Parsons trade yet

Sure maybe, but him getting double team, is also why he is still contributing even when he isn't getting the sack. It is why the defense gets worse, when you don't expect it to, just looking at his sack count, when you take him off. Yes, he probably would've been better had his stayed a LB, but I think it still something we haven't fully recovered from because who is being double teamed on Defense now?

True but in effect since we haven’t recovered we were in a better place however marginal with Parsons. 28th ranked defense with a pass rush is an improvement from what we have now. Sad to say.

And Micah’s body isn’t meant to take that punishment for a full season. He should have stayed at LB.

Yep, the coaches and, more likely, the FO decision-makers mishandled a generational talent.

They watched him erode and nothing was done to correct it.

IMO, it was an organizational failure to ignore the physical toll that took place once they decided to play him out of position.

The combination of being undersized, along with the constant double teams from much larger players brought about the breakdown (injuries) we now see.
