That’s not correct. After 3-0 I was calling fans to pump the brakes until we beat better teams. As the schedule down the road would be a truer test.

I’m gloating today because I called it yet again. My instinct and insight of this franchise is right more often than not. We have fans who can’t handle the reality.

You must have been listening to different analysts than me because I never heard 4th to 7th in the NFC. Most expected them to be better than they were last season and they’re not. Jerry certainly expected them to be better which is why he paid Zeke. The Cowboys went all in to win this year. It’s not over yet but it’s not looking good.

Two awful tripping calls. But Tyron had a couple penalties as usual which stifled drives.

Another slow start by the offense. Turnovers and penalties killed us. Did anyone expect us to come back against the World Champs at their place in this weather down 10-0? Dak made a valiant effort as usual.

We bring enough to the table to beat good football teams. I personally thought we had very good chance against the Patriots and would not have been surprised to see the Cowboys win that game.

But we did indeed lose. And the reason is the same reason its always been. Like you said. We make too many mistakes in key situations. It's always something. Come in with the wrong game plan. Fumbles. Bad ST play. Penalties. Bad decision at the end of the game leading to a loss.

You can overcome those things against bad football teams. But not against good ones.

It's coaching. I'm telling you. I'm sure they think they know what they are doing. But the results speak for themselves.

I would agree though the league has come down stronger on the Cowboys in suspensions because of Jerry’s intent to harbor more problem players. And the owners came down hard on him because of his threat of lawsuit. I have praised the league for their action against Jerry. I had hoped they’d kick his butt out of the league.

I was impressed with playing the World Champs tight on their turf. I’m not really into dissecting it all. I’m a result oriented fan. We covered the spread and the game went similar to how I expected. It was a loss all of the way .
