Cowboys stun Bengies? How big of an upset would this be?

I expect this one to be similar as BUCS game. The defense will keep Bengs under 20. Rush will need to grow new pair and put points on the board.

Dallas 13
Bengs 18

Cincy is there for the taking. Dallas will win and most will be shocked. By the end of the season most will count the win as a minute moment, since Cincy's season will blow.

I'm going for a 20-17 Cowboys. Even if we have a considerably worse squad than what we had going up against Minnesota and despite the fact that the Bengals are a lot better than the Vikings.

Why? Simply for one reason: I just never bet against the Cowboys, no matter what the odds are. :)

I wrote a little bit more here though. I just hope Cincy won't know what's coming and Kellen will be able to use that to our advantage. Chance of a snowball in hell 'n all but f*** it.

As far as the OPs question goes, none of these. But the worst possible option: Jerry thinkin "see, I told ya".

8/10 upset. The Bears just beat the 49ers, it's the NFL, is it likely no, impossible for one week? Hell no.

Dear lad, I am open to opinion but ... barely an upset?
Cowboys are a team in crises The Bengals are angry after their loss to the Stealers (sic.) and their secondary is better than average.
In me voluminous mind I would say that the Cowboys defeating the Bengies would be a lot more than an upset.
I'm not as high on the Bengals as you.

Not a question of being high on the Bengals. They will be fortunate to make the playoffs. We will be fortunate to win half our games. I suspect most folks in the NFL would choose their talent over ours straight up. Talent doesn't always win, but it usually does. They are a 7.5 point favorite playing in our house. That's pretty big.

Number 1, a simple upset. Seattle beating the Broncos was probably a bigger upset. But I think our OC will crap the bed again.

Disagree. Their talent is overrated. I don't care what the point favorites are.
Cowboys will win and the victory will be downplayed.

Me bland men and purported football experts:

Even with our JAG Dakota healthy it would be a BIG upset over the Bengies.
Add our woes at O line and an unproven running attack and we got problems, proBlems with a capital B!

Now, despite all tha, rate how monumental an upset would this be.

1. An upset, nothing more
2. Possibly the upset of our season.
3. This gets the NFL talking heads attention.
4. THE upset of the season!

I choose 3. (Cue in the talk of how the Bengies are in a nosedive and the Cowboys are surprisingly resilent)

Still, I have it Bengies 27, Cowboys 9.

Hollah
I'll say 2. This game reminds me of when Dallas played Cinci when Esiason was there. He absolutely annihilated them. If Dallas gets behind early, it's completely over. Burrow might approach 400-450 . Mixon will run nuts and Chase will go off. Hate to be a Debbie Downer but I just see Rush keeping it close. Hope I'm wrong.

If we beat Cincy. It will be downplayed as Cincy has issues .

I would choose option 1. but I think it will be downplayed on the Dallas side, but sensational on the Bengals side - "what's wrong with the Bengals" and that sort of thing.

Because our QB1 is out, our WR corps are depleted, snd our OL has injuries, a loss to Cincy is the most likely scenario. Our OC also abandons the run too often. That said, “upsets” happen every week—it’s why we play the game.

If Dallas does win, it’ll be the “UPSET OF THE CENTURY!” They’ll hammer that phrase until they start picking us to lose game three!

If they win it will go to their head and then they'll probably lose to the Giants.

Impossible...no. Likely.....no. More importantly what would be the over/under on Dak v Rush threads. I am thinking 50.

If Dallas wins, it is because:

The defence has kept it really close. Special teams are crushing it.

Burrows and co. is crapping the bed.

We win if the score is low. Really low.

All signs point to either blowout or a close one. I don't expect a blow for blow affair in the high 20's low 30's range at all.
