I agree.
Besides, it's almost humanly impossible to give 100 percent on every play. There are always going to be plays where a guy cuts back on effort, particularly when they're not in the play. Everyone does it.
I think it's just a matter of degrees and mentality. What I mean is that Jerry Rice probably didn't give 100 percent on plays, but he was still mentally engaged. Ray Lewis probably didn't give 100 percent, but he was mentally engaged.
It sounds like T. Williams is saying he not only didn't give 100 percent, but he was mentally unengaged in the play.
Now he's correcting that. Good for him. I think we've seen that he is a dangerous weapon. His numbers may be even better this year.
