Twitter: Cowboys throwback helmets - a side of Thanksgiving tradition

I watched the Dak interview on Tuesday in front of his locker and noticed the throwback helmet in his locker. I've always liked the look o that white helmet with the big blue star on the side. I can't wait to see the team on the field with that helmet.

The Dallas Cowboys official Twitter account showed about an hour ago that it will be the Thanksgiving throwbacks today, and not the color rush jerseys! (The versions Romo, Witten, Dez and them used to wear- white shoulder and blue star in it that matches the helmet)

Reminds me of the classic small plastic helmets you would get from the 7-Eleven when I was kid.

Sorry. I'm not digging anything white. Looks plain. Lame. Wish the Cowboys would get seriously creative and use some solid dark colored uniforms in color rush mode accented with other colors to really make all colors pop out.

I think that is what they're wearing. It's not the color rush, the color rush has a different helmet.
