No doubt he was a liability against the run. I wouldn’t say he is overrated. 8th in the league in sacks. Also played two less games than any other person on the list.

Just really great at one thing ... terrible at the other.

He's 100% overrated. Solid players aren't "terrible" at important parts of a game. He's overrated because he has flashy stats in sacks. Same as you folks underrated Jones because he doesn't get INTs (like some of you have a weird myth that the average DB gets 4-5 INTs a year)

If Gregory comes back, we are set at DE.

Quinn / Gregory + Lawrence / Armstrong.

Less needs to fill, the better. That means the draft and the rest of FA we focus on CB, S, LB and TE

More than solid? He was bottom 5 out of ALL DE's vs the run, that's HORRIBLE. Plus he's terrible against screen passes as well. He literally cost us games because he was sack hunting for a big contract. Some of you guys need to open your eyes and see the big picture. 11 sacks isn't jack squat if you flat out disappear in the other 500 plays you're on the field. A lot of teams abused us on the left side - because of Quinn. Our linebackers took a step back because of Quinn. We lost 8 games because of Quinn. Get him the F out of here!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile, Maliek Collins and Byron Jones are left hanging in the wind for the poachers to get them. What a clustered mess. The worst job of GM'ing this team in franchise history. Can Jerry's HOF status be revoked? I'm getting ready for a crappy draft and preseason. May the Cowboys lose enough in 2020 so that Jerry feels the heat from the rest of his family. Maybe he'll finally relinquish control.

If they work FA right, and stay with the normal plan not to overspend, we should get 4 comp picks from this.
When MM was with GB, as Holmgren too, GB pretty much stayed away from over paying FA's as well. Relied on the draft to build the roster.

Lots of solid DTs available in FA this year and a lot of solid DTs that should be available in rounds 2 -3 of the draft. Good year to revamp our DTs. Buyers market

jerry is not the only one making these mistakes Stephen jones is right there with him. his being cheap and not getting ahead of these free agent contracts are killing this team right now.
