News: Cowboys to see Ratliff again in 2014

The "attempt" to recover remains an option?

Is there ever a case where the option of just trying isn't there?

Got nothing to lose so might as well.

People here have said they have no case, but it seems pretty open and shut. He refused to rehab and return to the team and then immediately signed with someone else once he was released. Now he signs a 2yr/4m contract. He must really hate Jerry.

Doesn't appear to be what actually happened.

Ratliff is rehabbing from a sports hernia surgery at two different places, Valley Ranch with the team trainers and an undisclosed location. Coach Jason Garrett said Ratliff received permission to do this.

“This is rare, but we felt like if it mentally helped him and gave him a better chance to get back to where he thinks he needs to be, we were up for him doing that,” Jones said. “As far as knowing where he is, we get reports daily and understand how he’s progressing, so we’re aware of what’s going on.”

So, was rehabbing both with the team and without, and with Dallas' permission.

Team was getting daily updates when he was away disproving the idea he was keeping them in the dark.

So. Pretty much clear as mud as to what really happened.

I thought the bid issues was he told them he couldn't play for the rest of the season. Then was cut and signed with the bears
