Why would there even be debate about this?

You can't let teams start adorning the uniform with images and words for whatever cause they deem appropriate. There should be one UNIFORM standard for every team. That being said, it should apply to all teams equally...no cancer ribbons, no twin tower stickers, no police badges, etc. It's like the army: If they (the NFL) didn't issue it to you, you don't wear it.

I read yesterday in The Dallas Morning News that the Cowboys and the NFL are in discussion to have the decal on all during the NFL season. Right now, it's just supposed to be on during the preseason.
