As good as the front office is with choosing OL they are equally as bad at pick WR.

A 4th for Mingo last year, and now a 3rd for Pickens this year. I guess the upside is that while a headcase at least we know Pickens can play and has talent.

They get to the playoffs & SB because they can run the ball though. Sure, everyone wants more talent at every position. It doesn't change where their first focus is though.

Yeah but I’m not gonna sit here and say the reason why the Eagles won the SB was because they are a power running team. They are stacked all over the field. The built from the inside out and catered to Hurts skill set. Dak isn’t the runner those guys are and quite frankly I want no parts of the Bills and Ravens. Heavily flawed teams like us.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t have a focus on the runs but a balanced attack is more the approach I would take. And I need to see how good our run game is before I determine what type of team we should be. If we can’t run no point in making it a focal point.

I like what they’ve done this offseason. They upgraded linebacker, interior line, receiver….and running back. This is what we asked for. They are making trades and not sitting on their hands.

That same argument can be made to question every acquisition. If Saquon was so good why did the Giants let him go? If Dan Quinn was such a great coach why didn't we promote him? If AJ Brown was so good why did the Titans trade him. If Christian McCaffery was so good why did the Panthers trade him.

In most cases in terms of players, it was purely financial. Tenn refused to pay Brown what he wanted. Giants didn't want to pay Barkley what Philly gave him.

It wasn't a financial decision for the Steelers. They had grown tired of his antics, which are WELL documented. Tomlin literally called him out in a press conference.

Again pretending that this isn't a thing with Pickens is strange. Hope it works out and I might have more faith if we had an organization that has a track record of reigning these types in but sadly, we are not that kind of franchise.

Like Devonte Smith and AJ Brown..... Hurts only threw for 3k yards last year and I don't hear them complaining.

Brown definitely has a diva stretch in him and has shown it at times but he doesn't come close to what Pickens is, Also, Philly is just a better franchise and culture than we are so they are more likely to reign in a guy like Brown than we are with Pickens.

Adding a talented receiver doesn't hurt though I'm tired of them ignoring the defense. Maybe those 7th round DTs will save the day.
