Comp picks are speculative. That's why you cant count on them as being part of the deal.

I get that hes a deep ball guy. Tall, athletic, not blazing speed but above average.

I also get that Pitt had/has a mess at QB.

But for a 3rd year player who was the teams #1, those numbers are pedestrian. Really concerning is the lack of TDs.

Combine that with drama issues, and final year of his contract, no way I drop a 3rd on him. Generally seems to be the consensus from other teams as well.

I see your point on lack of TDs. But remember, he's a contested catch guy that didn't have a decent QB and no other weapons around him. So teams could focus on him.

I get it. It's still concerning. But it's something to work on. He's only 24.

Jake Reed was the 3rd WR in Minnesota w/Carter and Moss. But, I get where you're going with that.

The only way this makes even half sense is if they intend to re-sign him.

Even the Jones twins aren't dumb enough to trade a 3 for a one year rental WR.

I would not hold my breath. They sign Dak to the biggest QB contract ever with a no trade clause.
