Corny one liner to follow a thread. You're so predictable.Bang.
This can't possibly end badly.
He's gonna love it when we force the ball to CeeDee all game. Absolutely love it.Pittsburgh has an eye for talented but troubled WRs. AB, Bryant, Claypool, Pickens etc...
No doubt he's talented, but there was a reason he fell to the 2nd. He's a stage 10 diva.
Last year he was more interested in facemasks, penalties, pouting and fighting.
He got fined for an inappropiate message on his eye black tape last year. Surely, a guy pouting about lack of targets will be a team player here.
Tomlin even said publicly he needs to grow up.
Many teams have two no 1 receivers this day and age. Just look at Cincy, Philly to name a fewThat would be a lot of money invested in your starting WRs.
Might be a one year rental and letting him walk for a comp pick or a trade out by the Cowboys if he is good enough to tag."A" for effort but wrong culture for this player. The good news is the team just got a lot more interesting. The bad news is Mike Tomlin couldnt make it work with this player.
Miami too. Just Tyreek is too busy impregnating half of Miami. Many teams have two no 1 receivers this day and age. Just look at Cincy, Philly to name a few
You'd like to think the Cowboys spoke with him before agreeing on a trade. Will he even play this year without a new deal?
This trade has been kicked around apparently for a month. I would think they’ve talked to the player’s agent during that period to make sure he’ll report on time and play. Will he even play this year without a new deal?
That would be amazing. Trade a third for a guy who holds out. Will he even play this year without a new deal?
THIS IS A JERRY move I bet lolShotty changing the culture with “high character” guys already.
Shotty was hired specifically to not be in control of anything, just as I’ve been saying all along.
This trade proves it.
And Pickens is just entering his prime.I am not really against the trade. Dallas needed playmakers. Maybe you preferred cooper for free but he is at the age where you can start a decline and last year (in not good scenarios in Cleveland and than mid season trade) he was not good.
I think we know how these things typically end with Dallas but I guess I am ok with this. Our skill players outside Lamb were just bottom of the league. Pickens helps improve the talent.
Also shows that “changing the culture” talk by the HC is pure BS as Jerry undermines him yet again. The way I see it, he becomes a potential comp pick if we do not resign him after the season. If he plays great, we can basically get a 3rd round pick back via a comp pick if the contract is high. If not, we still should get a comp pick, and we get a WR, which we need. So, to me, despite the compensation, I think it's a low risk deal. Plus, fwiw, we got a 7th back in the deal too. So, all in all, not bad.
