TRADED Cowboys trade for Joe Milton

I don’t mind this move. We needed a backup— the compensation isn’t horrific.

In general— meh. But will wait until he starts taking snaps in TC and preseason before reacting

By the time the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around the Cowboys won't have any late round picks left for the diamond in the rough...............LOL!
Right now they have 7 picks from the 5 through the 7th.
Could trade up into the 4th. If they don’t trade down in then1st. Or both.

Every trade they picked up a 7 th round pick s so they are not losing draft capital!

No, it's weird finding an NFL player that chose to be here. Jerry and Stephen finally found someone that called them.
Sounds like he was a Cowboys fan growing up...so there's that. But he is also more likely to play in Dallas with Dak's injury history. But I think you're right - NE called Dallas

Don’t let Milton throw with the first team, ever.
Lamb is still the only playmaker on the offense. Can you imagine if a heater from Milton splits his hand or breaks a finger.

They only gave up a 5th

Dallas received - Joe Milton and a 7th

New England received - 5th rounder
Basically traded down 46 spots to get a potentially good QB prospect, that may turn in to a better one. Then who knows. We know what NE did with a certain 6th round QB pick years ago.

Gave a 5th round pick for A guy picked in the 6th. LOL... Another waisted draft pick. The Cowboys would be better off taking a chance in the draft for a QB.
Went from number 171 to 217.

They’ll end up having a dozen players they had slotted for 171 that will still be there at 217.

If the next Pat Mahomes is drafted between those two spots then feel free to be outraged at the Cowboys and every other team who will miss on Mr Miracle with the first 171 picks.
