TRADED Cowboys trade for Joe Milton

That's the more stunning thing. Out of all the teams , not one offered anything more? Yikes.

Supposedly there were better offers but they cooperated with him to get him here. I dont have any idea of the accuracy of that information. If it was a better offer I can't imagine it was a big difference.

That being said, they can't win either way. If they paid what was "expected" we'd roast them. Since they paid less they are now questioning Miltons value. Lol

So the Cowboys, Steelers, Giants, Eagles, and Raiders were supposedly the teams in on trading for Milton. If the rumors are correct, at least one of those teams had a better deal on the table but the Patriots granted Milton's wish to be a Cowboy.

It makes sense because the Eagles are set long term, the Giants and Raiders are going to draft a QB early, and right now it looks like the Steelers have zero plan as to what they are going to do at the position.

What was wrong with DRAFTING Milton last year and making Dak play out the year?

Jerry instead handcuffs the cap with a record deal that they can’t get out of because he won’t be such a celebrity on a rebuilding team.

We all better hope he's good because with an ever increasing injured starting QB, his playing and starting games here is almost inevitable.

The one thing that gives me great comfort is that a QB whisperer like Schotty will empower him with all the mentoring one can ask for

I bet for this reason Dak plays all 17 games this season

That would require a GM that possesses foresight.

Last year Jerry was still under the delusion that Trey Lance was going to justify the 4th round pick he gave up for him.

This makes it sound like Dak had his hamstring pop off the bone last season by choice.....
He did not mean for it to pop off, he just could not run 8 yards before it happened...best shape of his life.

I am quite sure we will not see Joe doing Dak's hip exercises. Natural throwers figure that out when they are very young.

It just occurred to me that Jerry Jones traded a 4th round pick for a QB that hardly played in college (Trey Lance) and today only sent away a 5th round comp pick for a QB that spent six years in college at Michigan and Tennessee. And got a 7th back in the deal.

Your sarcasm is duly noted and aporeciated, lol.

WHEN Dak goes down this year the battling backup duo of Grier and Milton will have many here remembering those good old Cassell and Weeden days of 2015.
