I agree. But Dak's best seasons (arguably) were 2021 and 2023, after the 2020 ankle injury. Last year the offensive line was still finding it's footing and McCarthy didn't run the ball until a few weeks after Dak was injured. A lot was working against him.
Of course I am not blind to the fact that Dak is now a tenth year player with a long list of injuries. His best football very well may be behind him, but a healthy Dak is still a top 7 to 12 QB in the NFL. Which is certainly good enough in the right situation.
But like you said, the holes elsewhere on this roster are troubling. If things go south again, Dak will be the scapegoat, but he's far from the team's biggest worry.
