I am watching Milton’s highlights from his Tennessee days. Most of the highlights is against SEC schools. It will take time for him to develop but he has all the tools you are looking for in a quarterback physically. Joe needs to play. He should automatically be our 2nd quarterback. Milton needs reps.

Just watched his Patriots tape and to me he has more talent then Lance.

He doesn’t.

Lance isn’t playing for 1M.

Different situations. Pickett was traded for a 5th and a backup QB with a smattering of starts; shows the Browns legitimately may start him. But main difference is Pickett only had 1 year of contract left… Milton has 3

How can you really complain about this?

It’s a 5th round comp pick for a guy with a ton of upside. Rocket arm and can use his legs.

We were not going to spend big money on a backup like Rush or Dalton.

Milton has the most upside of any QB outside of Prescott in forever that’s been in this roster.

We could spend the 5th and hope for what? Stephen McGee? Mike White? Ben DiNucci?

Several teams BID HIGHER than Dallas including the Eagles who run a model franchise.

This is nowhere near the failure of Trey Lance.

He played more than Trance in college, so that's a plus.

Not sure why you would have bad feelings towards Rush. He was a quality backup QB for Dallas. He deserves more respect.

Yeah you can be happy about Milton’s ‘possible’ potential, but c’mon… spare me on Grier…
