Went from number 171 to 217.

They’ll end up having a dozen players they had slotted for 171 that will still be there at 217.

If the next Pat Mahomes is drafted between those two spots then feel free to be outraged at the Cowboys and every other team who will miss on Mr Miracle with the first 171 picks.

No outrage. It's funny a lot of people get excited about another pick traded for a backup QB. If the expectations for Milton is just a backup QB then Ok they traded 5th for a backup. Milton is a backup.

None of that stops them from drafting 1 next year which is a better qb draft depending on their record the next starter could still be in college

I highly doubt Jerry is drafting a QB with a high pick next year.

You can of course joke about one play in a meaningless week 17 game because as we all know 1 play or even one game (he had a great game) is meaningless. But, it’s kind of funny (or maybe sad?) that if that play were made by a Cowboy it might have been our best play of the year

Lol, kept Cooper? For 6 million a year? Are you serious? Milton makes 1 million a year and can run and has a cannon of an arm. They did use the pick in the draft. They drafted Milton.
