New england was probably going to release him and got Dallas to give them a pick. Belichick doesn't tolerate his coaching staff being questioned. He did that and he is kicked out. If he didnt like two gapping or being asked to play the run in their defense he shouldn't have signed there.

How much of an idiot do you have to be to not be happy playing on what is going to end up being one of the maybe top 5 or top 3 defenses ever. They look like the 85 bears right now, but this guy was unhappy playing there. Says all there is to say.

It sounds like he didn't like his lack of playing time. From what I read he was being used as a situational pass rusher, but getting less and less time on the field as the season progressed.

Oh well, fresh start for Bennett. Hopefully he has his head in the game. Like I said not much risk at this point.

2.5 sacks in a lot less playing time than D-Law so far this year. Pats were going to run a 4-3 Defense when they traded for Bennett, but then switched to a 3-4 which is why he played a lot less. This is a good pick up for a 7th. Yes terrible person but these guys aren’t role models by any means.

Bennett is a vet that has NO ISSUE SPEAKING HIS MIND...this is a great thing FOR THE DEFENSE. He has the cred to call out his coaches and team when they aren't playing well.
