Cowboys trade rumor continues to get shot down by reputable NFL insiders

I don’t know about that. He’s going to make
Roughly 20 million a year for the next 3 years. Bland is going to ask for that. Diggs might be damaged goods and in line for a June1st cut. So I don’t think it’s a question of need or budget. It’s just not what Dallas does.
Ramsey is 31 years old. He’s not worth it.

Still only one ball. If Pickens improves the offense, in addition to Lamb, it pretty much requires the offense to pass more. When does the team rush more?
If the defense attempts to stop the run (8 men in the box) pass the ball. Other wise, run the ball if the defense doubles on pickens, Cdee.

If the Cowboys’ defense doesn’t stop the run Pickens and CeeDee will be spectators, like the rest of us, watching the other team’s offense.

Commanders had a worse rush defense, but better offence than the Cowboys did in 2024.

Ok hold on. Ramsey isn't what he used to be at all. Pickens is a WR1. Not sure what you have against Pickens but he clearly was the best add for the Cowboys.

Ramsey would have had a minimum impact on the defense opposed to Pickens who will have a big time impact on the offense.
Hes saying that improving the defense is a way better means to winning here than it would improving the offense.

We have had two WR1s with a younger healthier Dak and he scored 17 points at home in the playoffs

If the trade is not about trading little man child, Micah...not interested.

Trade him before he comes to get his bag. Don't make the same mistake, like paying #4 money...mistake.

There’s a difference in an actual rumor and click bate. Most of these are click bait. I don’t see us making a move at CB right now. I could see them make a move at DT if right deal came about. And they will look at vets cut during cut down for sure.

Ramsey would've been a better addition than Pickens.
I don’t agree. Ramsey is much older, expensive and could end up cut anyway. We drafted a nice CB prospect and traded for one. We had no WR worth putting on the field across from Lamb. The Pickens traded for one made a lot of sense.

This, CB is not needed.

This is why? It never was a reality for him to be traded unless they get an insane amount of overpayment and draft picks from somebody look at it it's literally says the first potential out would be 2026 but look at his dead cap hits and look at his actual cap hits it's a bad contract....

There is no way the Dolphins are moving him right now he just signed a new deal last year new money starts this year he makes no sense they wanted to trade him if they got some sucker to overpay for him you know like two first round picks or something....

I don't know the cap that well but when you have a dead cap hit of $49 million right now with a $16 million actual capit next year you have a $25 million cap hit..but 18M in dead cap..

I mean for the Dolphins next year makes sense but for other teams are they taken on $25 million for him at his stage in his career? 25, 26, 36 That would be 2026 2027 and 2028 cap hit for Jalen Ramsey yeah the dead cap gets lower and lower which makes him more movable but I don't know how the rest of it works but that's a lot of money...
He will play out this year because they can’t trade him and save nothing cutting him. After this season they will cut him unless some one wants to trade for him which is highly unlikely. He’s an older player with a bad contract

Expect that Cooper is very well known to disappear in the playoffs. Also, Lamb wasn't really a full #1 during the time Cooper was with the Cowboys.

This trade is doable. His contract would need to be re-worked, of course. We desperately need a No. 1 corner because Bland is clearly a #2. Getting Ramsey NOW to play CB this year could help to solidify our secondary. We then should move him to Safey next year. He will do well at Safety.
