i wonder if that is just his base salary. if he is released before the roster is set for the season then the cowboys do not owe him anything. i think the titans are on the hook for the dead money in his contract. may not be a bad move.

They definitely seem to be using FA to fill in depth, which I personally don’t mind. One of my biggest concerns is there still is no true WR2. Although there is still time. And my assumption is they are going after one of the rookie RB to be their starter and Williams was brought in for experience and depth…I hope. I will wait out free agency and the draft before I cry about the personnel they have this year.

Fowler was pretty solid here, and Hooker had his moments.

I think there's a distinction between first round bust based on draft position vs actual production. Murray hasn't gone without production and he was apparently a team captain. We didn't lose any great assets to get him and he has upside so why not?
