Jerry only had 10M when he paid 140M for the Cowboys...He’s worth over half a billion so he doesn’t have enough money to buy it from Jerry.

It was pre-Parnell...the dark ages...Did you talk his ear off about Parnell?

It's common knowledge knowledge that he borrowed most of the money.where'd you hear this?
Raise your hand if you're tired of hearing about this team's past accomplishments.

The price tag was $70 million for the franchise and $70 million for the leasing rights and $30 million in overdue bills, including several years of payments to the NFL’s pension fund.
Ultimately, Jones forked over $77 million of his own cash and personally lent the franchise $20 million. Banks, concerned about the Cowboys’ financial woes, would only loan him $34 million.
Jones says he had to guarantee the latter loan with his personal signature, using his own receivables and personal assets as collateral.
Teams not worth that little.Jerry only had 10M when he paid 140M for the Cowboys...

FWIW, I think Roger has a very real chance to be right.
Dallas has cap space, draft picks galore and the talent to win it all.
They will be on a 2nd place schedule and play the AFC South which was a combined 11 games under .500.
So yes I am a homer but this team is far better than people wanna acknowledge simply because they got their feelings hurt this year.
And I am certainly going to believe Roger Staubach has a far better idea of where this team is than a bunch of fans.
raise your hand if you'd rather be an Eagles fan with no memories of past accomplishments
Jerry has turned down insane offers from arab sheiks for the team.Teams not worth that little.
Forbes estimates 4 billion, so Jerry would probably want double that.

I know I am sometimes. it has been half of a lifetime for me since the cowboys won anything of importance in the playoffs.Raise your hand if you're tired of hearing about this team's past accomplishments.
Why was it a "bad season"?Two things happen after a bad season. Either the Sky is falling, or the Sky is falling but it's made out of Candy and Spice and everything nice and it's all fallen out of the Sky, just laying all over the ground, for the taking!
Is it what it is.......
Why was it a "bad season"?
It was the 3rd best season of the past 8 years.
We broke in new starters at 3 of 4 DB spots.
We saw suspension and injury wreck our stars.
Fans knew Zeke was facing 6 games, they knew DLaw was out 4, knew Irving was suspended to start.Expectations were not missing the playoffs or placing 2nd in the NFC East. Expectations were not the 3rd best season in the past 8 years (Season that include 2 losing seasons and three straight 8-8 years), expectations were not losing games because of bad game management. I know you already know all this JT but it's just the simple truth. Expectations were another year in which we challenge for the Super Bowl, reaching the playoffs, winning the NFC East, our young players improve and generally, follow up a great year with an even better one.
Right or wrong, that's what expectations were and that's really the problem right?
