People get too caught up on starter vs depth and are often too ready to just throw rookies to the fire. Look at how young our secondary is. There is value in having some experience in helping organize things.
Heath has been a disappointment as a starter sure but this idea that Woods can just step in seamlessly (especially when he's getting plenty of snaps) is misguided.
