If they had to lose any game to jolt them awake, this was the one to lose.

This sounds dumb but it could actually be good for this team.

It's not good for this team. Or any team. This was one of those games where Dallas could've made a statement. Taking on all the pressure of winning against a good team and the division. Erasing some doubt and solidifying that this Dallas team is here to play.

It's on the coaches as well as the players to keep focused. I would say both failed. But, more or less, this coaching staff failed again. It's a trend that has been in Dallas for about 8yrs. And, it ain't stopping anytime soon. And, some may ask, where was all the complaining about coaching in the five game losing streak.. It was there, I think a lot were just holding their breath for when the collapse comes. Came yesterday, and everyone let out their breaths and now it's on!!!. hahahha..

Saints game wasn’t a statement? Eagles game wasn’t a statement? 5-game win streak in the middle of the season when everything was doom and gloom wasn’t a statement?

If anything, the Colts needed a statement game much more than the Cowboys.
