I read elsewhere how someone thinks Smith's play was pointed out to the officials and they are calling him some for what he has done throughout his career. It's been known for years that once Smith gets his hands on you, it's over. That's because he grabs in the "prescribed" way (inside the shoulder pads instead of outside). For whatever reasons, officials are not allowing him to do that when other offensive linemen get away with it all the time.
