It’s just a thing they do all the time. It would bring up the ratings and clicks if someone said that. But they never get anyone to say anything bad about the man...

Trust... it's lazy questioning, but it's what they've been taught to do.
They're fishing for that moment, that sound-bite, anything to construe into something that brings attention.

Even if it's innocuous in it's verbiage, or oh-so-easy to answer in a correct way- they're still fishing.
