Hmmmmm..........this is my problem. I LOVE this kid..........but, I love Jeffery Simmons (bad leg an all) MORE. Why? Simmons is NOT scheme dependent whereas Oliver may be. With Oliver, you HOPE he's Aaron Donald. With Simmons, I believe you're getting at LEAST Fletcher Cox.

When he compares salary with Von, how about looking at the sack ratio too in 2014, 2015 and 2016 Von Miller (38.5) and 2016, 2017 and 2018 Lawrence (.26). Lawrence got only 67% of the sacks over the 3 years prior to their respective contracts, so I would only off 67% of 140M w/85M guaranteed. 23M yearly salary.

That would come out to 93 million w/56 million guaranteed. 15.4 million a year.

I don't blame the FO on this one.

Buffalo is ythe landing spot for Tank. They have cap room. They are aggressive in free agency. They were rumored to be willling to swap picks with Steelers for Brown which turns out to be a huge overpay. They need a rusher opposite Mr Hornedfrog.

DON'T rule out the Cowboys making it happen and getting this guy. I would gladly trade DLAW for high picks to get him.The raiders are intriguing...
The raiders wouldn’t pay Mack
Can’t see them paying tank
I’m ready to move him but it’s not gonna be for a first rnd pick I don’t think
Needs surgery, wants huge money and hasn’t signed his tag
Trading requires him to sign tag

Oh, I know. He did something REALLY bad and stupid. But, since that day, there have been NO REPORS of a bad guy. In fact, I remember reading something he's really gone out of his way to prove that was just a young, isolated incident. If I can find it again, I'll post the link.

In my mind, both sides are now playing this negotiation in the media. Cowboys $17, 000000. Lawrence 23,000000.
One low, one high.
Still think they will meet in the middle somewhere.
And I don't get all the Lawrence hate - just crazy talk.
The # won't be that high when it's all said and done.
And if I'm wrong, then one is as bad as the other.
With Quinn coming on board, get this done and move on to the draft.
All they are doing is negotiating In the court of public opinion.

trade DLAW, sign Quinn AND Ziggy..DRAFT Ed Oliver or Simmons.
I feel like people say this, but there is absolutely 0 shot Oliver is there at 58. It would be almost impossible for Dallas to move far enough up to get Oliver...and it'd be unlikely that Simmons is there, plus, he might not even be able to play.

Also, people complain about Lawrence being inconsistent and then want to go with Quinn and Ziggy lol.

Probably not- he and his agent are responsible for making his own deal- good or bad...
Yeah I agree with this, I truly believe Tank wants to stay in big D but his agent is a real prick and his relationship with the Boys FO has apparently disintegrated so I don’t really put this on Tank but who knows what’s going on in the background.
