You are low. The number I think you meant was 6.I am really hoping at least four of these guys greatly outperform their rookie deal.

But he signed a contract that he wouldn't be a pouty pout face! This is really discouraging to hear. It's a shame that our collective brain trust also allowed Rod that large of a say after the disaster that was Taco.
It's even more discouraging when it seemed like for once we finally valued a safety last season and was allowed to be talked out of it in favor of a DT that we knew going in had maturity issues.
Did you listen to the interview? He also said that some of the coaches on the Scott Frost staff were feeling that they might have gave the Cowboys an incorrect evaluation of his character. They felt like what they thought was a development in character was simply Trystan being ‘up’ (energetic and engaged) with the wins. That is false. The D-Coordinator with the 2nd UCF coaching staff was interviewed after the 2019 draft and he gave glowing review of Hill.
These have all said that Hill has a high motor:
1st UCF staff
2nd UCF staff's D-Coordinator
Marinelli (during the 2019 season)
Nobody ever said that about Taco...
Trysten Hill needs to grow up.
It may not happen, or at least now soon enough to save Hill's job with the Dallas Cowboys, but there's a chance.
I mentioned yesterday that the new staff has no ties to Hill, but his position coach, Leon Lett, was one of the few holdovers from Jason Garrett's staff.
Lett will fight to keep Hill, who is only 22 years old. He's the second youngest player on the roster behind CeeDee Lamb.
But the light needs to come on, otherwise it looks like Hill will be another team's problem before the regular season arrives.
I love the Cowboys had him as a 2nd. I thought I’d read everything about these guys but hadn’t heard that. I trust their scouting. That’s great to hear.Cowboys valued him as a 2nd round talent and considered him a steal in the 4th.
Ugh.
I'm listening to this now and about midway through Will Cain asks Bobby Belt if the Dallas Cowboys have basically already written off 2019 second round selection Trysten Hill as a bust.
Belt: "I had someone in the building (The Star) at the start of the off-season tell me he's like Taco Charlton. The entire building soured greatly on Taco and they're seeing the same maturity problems with Hill. He pouts and gets really low when things aren't going his way. Not in a pitching a fit kind of way, but his emotions match how good/bad things are going. Former UCF coach Scott Frost's staff endorsed drafting Hill when the new UCF staff would not. Inside the Star, they are questioning if Hill loves football, if he wants to work hard, his toughness, things like that. His maturity. They are pretty close, especially with this new coaching staff, to just writing Hill off.
