Cowboys UDFA Signings

I love the UDFA class for the Cowboys so far I thought someone said they got Empey C from byu that would have been big but players I like that could make the team include SS Juanyeh Thomas GT, CB IT-Stuart USC, C Alec Lindstrom BC, S Markquese Bell FL a&m, WR Dontario Drummond Ole Miss and the Tx Tech K; should have been Brkic... he is still out there as far as I know

Other teams I thought killed UDFA
Falcons WR Berryhill Arizona
Lions DT D. Taylor App St, RB Greg Bell SDSU, TE Derrick Deese SJSU
Texans FS Harvell-Peel Ok St, ILB Jake Hansen Illinois
Colts did really good QB Jack Coan ND, RB CJ Verdell Oregon, SS Weatherford Miami OH, RB DV Price Fl Int., RB Max Borghi Wazzu and Jojo Domann NB.
Jags OL Nick Ford Utah
Rams Dicker the Kicker
Miami OL Diesch Ar St, RB White S. Carolina, FS Vern lll Oregon
Saints SS Smoke Monday Auburn, RB Abram Smith Auburn, LB Nephi Sewell Utah
Eagles CB Mario Goodrich Clemson, QB Carson Strong!!! Nevada, CB Josh Jobe BAMA, DT Noah Ellis Idaho
PITS RB Jaylen Warren Oklahoma
TB WR Sterns and Thompkins, LB JJ Russell Memphis
Titans WR Reggie Roberson Jr. SMU, P Stonehouse Colorado State

From 2 undrafted FA's? I guess this is your new hope after last years predictions fell apart for you.

I actually like the competition but it will come from Farniok if anyone.
My last year's prediction (Farniok) is actually already happening as we speak.

Here. Go to the 21:40 mark of the Post Draft Presser and listen to what Stephen Jones and Coach McCarthy have to say about Matt Farniok moving forward right now with workouts and the upcoming season.

Looks like I was right all along, and it sure sounds like Stephen Jones and Coach McCarthy feel the same. Matt Farniok is going to become our new starting Center. Mark it down.

Post Edit:

Alec Lindstrom actually looks better than Biadasz. Say bye-bye to your boy.:p:D

Eagles have Jordan Davis (340) and Noah Elliss (364) and Fletcher Cox (315) and Javon Hargrave (310) at DT.

Our OL is going to be bench pressing 4 mountains 2x a season.

Linderbaum, Parham or fill in blank OL "better than Smith" would have been speed bumps to these mammoths.

Tyler Smith was absolutely the right pick.

And your now on record as agreeing that Lindstrom will win the center job in TC.
I never said that! YOU DID!

I've always said Farniok should be our starting Center, and it sure sounds like he's going to be moving forward!

Soooo, who was right all of this time? o_O

You ready to concede you have been wrong all of this time?

Not if Smith continues holding! Tyler Smith led the NCAA in holding penalties all of 2021, and most of it was against smaller colleges. How do you think he's going to fare against this big monster DTs? o_O

Noah Elliss is a mammoth DT and he should have been drafted if he played for another team besides the Vandals it would have been. I completely agree with your analysis the Eagles got a lot more difficult to deal with if it weren't for the QB advantage we would be doomed. Jerry said today in the day 3 presser that they didn't draft Linderbaum because he didn't want a light Center that could be overpowered. He was probably trying to justify the pick in Smith but it definitely falls into the category of what you speak. Hopefully, they are smart enough to think about stuff like that' and its not just hogwash; it will help me sleep at night.

Better than Linderbaum I guarantee it.
I like the kid. I can see his potential. My beef was using a 1st round pick on him. That is all. Hope he miraculously fixes his problems and is able to contribute from Week 1, because 1st round picks are supposed to be starters.

Am I missing something, or are we still looking for a punt returner?
Yes that is why Bo Melton should have been the 6th round pick not the UDFA LB they decided to draft there. Fossil got his guy though.

Eagles are doing exactly what I wanted Cowboys to do - acquire 3 of the planet sized but fluid players in this draft and play them at same time.

Imagine frontline of:

LDE - Jordan Davis 6'6 340 4.77
NT - Luther Elliss 6'4 360
RDE - Eyioma Uwaruzike 6'6 320 5.02 (Eagles have Hargrove/Fletcher here)

With 4 monster lightning fast LB behind them:

LOLB - Amare Barno 6'5 246 4.36
MIKE - Leo Chenal 6'2 260 4.53
WILL - Micah Parsons 6'3 250 4.39
ROLB - Sam Williams 6'4 260 4.46

That was my dream defensive front 7.

Quinn will make it hybrid and incorporate 4-3 looks of course, with waves of DT's like Odiggy, Galimore, Watkins, Hill as well as DLaw, Armstrong, Cox, LVE, etc.

But that 3-4 front could not be run on and should also be devastating rushing the passer.
