This isn’t a soft defense. 49ers just exposing the holes this defense showed in the season.

It’s soft. It’s predicated on speed. Physical teams give us problems.

But it is way too early to panic. Then again, Dallas is 2-5 when the opponent scored first. The 49ers were clearly more fired up. Dallas has a habit of not being ready to play.

We are not a physical defense. Never have been. Sam Fran’s run game is ideal to combat how we play D.
