I'm not sure how he could have avoided it. He was gonna hit him in the chest and then McCaffery dropped down.

Idk what people expect these defenders to do moving at the speed they are trying to make a play and dislodge the ball. Is Wilson supposed to adjust how McCaffrey’s body contorts in the split second he engages to hit him?

Wilson is supposed to not lower his head. It’s actually easy to not lower your head.

If he doesn’t lower his head. Flag probably doesn’t get thrown.
