Chicago's problem isn't the number of QB's. It's that they have no offensive identity because they have always styled themselves as a team that leans on it's defense. The 49-ers have gone through many QB's in the last 10 years and guess what, somehow manage to stay competitive. The difference is that they understand what they have and what they need to pay.Except that's a as of now argument only. Because the moment contract time is up it's about the money and it won't be cheap even for him. That's why the salary arguments are dumb because you do not always have the chance to capitalize on a low contract and eventually people will cost money to keep. We could be an idiot team and have 19 different qbs like Chicago and not be relevant at all or pay money to someone.
