Murray could have had the first down on the second down. He

made a business decision to go out of bounds

Murray is a pretty good blocker...can't make them all. The real problem was that he was blocking and not carrying the rock for the 1st.

no the playcall was pretty bad. only 3 yards needed with every route going down the field and leaving your running back to block one of their better defensive lineman. the play was destined to fail.

Why would the Bears only go for a few yards on 3rd and short? They're supposed to go for 16 yard routes.

The main problem is he was blocking the DE on long routes when they needed only two yards.
