Everytime a defender goes to try and block the pass and his hands hit the qbs head....it isn't a penalty.

It is an abuse of a dumb rule imo

I know why they called that penalty, but I hate it!
He went high and tipped the pass, the only reason it was intercepted. Then his hands came down and touched the QBs face mask, not hitting him, but almost bracing to not hit him….didn’t even shove him down. I want to see it again, but it literally looked like touching the face mask to avoid a hit…..he protected the QB
