Keeping in mind this is against Chicago, Pollard is showing himself more than capable to handle the running game which is not good news for Zeke after this season (Pollard is an UFA so his price tag will increase).
If Zeke is designated a post June 1st cap release Dallas splits the dead money which means they save roughly $9.5M next season with another $5.9M in dead money for 2024. If they trade him, they save about $5M next season while eating $11.8M in dead money.
Yet another reason I wish Dallas would have traded the 6th the Jets traded for RB James Robinson.
