I had that same feeling before the eagles game and dallas was never In that game at all. I could honestly just flip a coin in this one. They've owned us in the past but we might squeek out a win.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. The outcome of our games should never surprise us when we have an owner like Jerry Jones, a coach like JG, and a QB who can be inconsistent. I long for the days when we have a real team we can count on.

Bears have not scored more than 28 points all season. Cutler is the 30th rated QB with passes over 10 yards. Stop the Chicago run game and you win.

Except it's probably not that easy as Matt Forte is a PPR guy meaning he can catch out of the backfield and take it to the house.

Also, I don't like our corners vs their big receivers. Yeah, their unit is having a down year as a whole, but just wait until Marshall, Jeffery, and Bennett play Dallas.

I would rather have to worry about stopping Forte than having to worry about stopping Marshal, Alshon, and Bennett. I hope Chicago does run the ball a lot and do short dink and dunk passes.

It's a bad matchup all around. Forte has 650 yards receiving. The best way to beat them is to make Cutler turn it over, which is done by pressure. I just don't like it.

Edit - Forte has more yards than Terrance Williams lol.

if this cowboys team cant go on the road and beat this bad bears team then the rest really don't matter because the wheels will come off. If they do then garrett wont be here any way or the rest of the coaches and maybe if the new staff wants new players to

Yeah, that is pretty bad that he has more receiving yards than Williams but we have turned into a running team man. That is our identity these days. Forte has always been a dual threat and racked up receiving yards. This is his bet year doing it but he always has.

Chicago ranks 30th vs the pass. If Romo is on tonight, we should get the win. We do well on the road this year, have not lost a game, also Romo typically does well against teams that are below .500..unless that team is Washington.

31-20 Cowboys, Melton gets a beast sack on opening drive, Murray runs for 45 yards and aTD on first drive to set the tone. We all enjoy eggnog by the fire here on CZ after the game.

That would be a huge achievement for the Bears O this year and an incredible indictment on our D. I think a lot of people who are living in fear of the Bears scoring at will think this is last year's club. They simply are not playing close to the level they were last season on offense.

Not saying we cannot lose this game, but if this Bears team, as it stands now and has looked all year, drops 41 on us, then we might as well just voluntarily forfeit the rest of the games and not waste anyone's time with the illusion of a playoff push.

Despite being in the thick of things at 8-4 and despite how bad the Bears have looked at times, I still think they are as good as we are.

It's December and the script has been written for the Dallas Cowboys for the last several years. I can't bring myself to think that things will be different this time. We have played the Bears the last couple years with aspirations and playoff implications in the balance and have been embarrassed. I think the chances of that happening again are more likely than us leaving Chicago with a win.

I hope I'm wrong but after watching our team come out on Thanksgiving unprepared, uninspired and just plain bad against a team that were talking smack about them all week for the division lead, I think that any kind of playoff push for this bunch is an illusion.

I can't think otherwise until they prove otherwise.

I'll go Chicago 34 Dallas 17

I don't know why because I'm more of a realist/pessimist but I think tonight is the start of a 3-1 record for the rest of the season. They win tonight and either lose to phi or ind. This team is built to run in the cold and I'm hoping the def breaks out and gains confidence for the stretch run. If they let me down, this is definitely one of those fool me once shame on me, fool me 22 times and I just keep coming back for more moments...

Now that's granting a Christmas wish early ... Well done, and I hope it comes true....

I think it will take 31 points to win this game. We should be able to move the ball on them so I'm holding my breath and going 34-30 boys
