This is just me guessing, but I'm thinking it's something he had to do repeatedly during rehab to show the trainers how he was progressing.

So this may come off wrong but that's a really crappy mic'ed up video. You don't actually hear any of the players say anything after the game starts.

Usually these videos have good insight into the conversions and sounds between players during the game. This video just has radio calls with quick breaks off crowd noise and celebrating.... Just my opinion

It's the best in terms of content by a fair bit. I've got Verizon too, and there's no issue with the site. It's probably something with his device.
