The defense really is horrible. Unless the defense does a complete 180 this team is not good enough to win a playoff game anyways.. Really sucks but teams that only can play one side of the ball have a limit of how successful they can be especially when the side they actually play well on isn't consistent either.

This team is going to have to make some tough decisions on some of the defensive players.. Brandon Carr isn't living up to his contract, Demarcus Ware is a shell of his former self, Sean Lee can't stay healthy, Morris Claiborne is no where near as good as would justify trading up for him, and Bruce Carter has fallen off the map..

All that said we can still find ourselves in the playoffs this year but games like tonight make it hard to ignore some of the issues that this team is facing going forward.

... How anyone can be that upset about how bad our defenses this year. I know fans don't like to use injuries as an excuse, but our situation is beyond absurd. The 85 Bears would give up 500 yards a game if instead of Richard Dent and The Fridge, they were starting players that worked at Home Depot two weeks ago. It sucks and I hate watching it, but I don't know how anyone could be mad at this group of guys.

The only people I could be upset about are the coaches. We really should've ran it every single play. Their defense could not stop our run at all. It would've slowed the game down and kept their offense off the field.

I don't care that we have street bodies, 3rd and 4th stringers playing and dudes off couches.....Kiffin needs to be fire immediately. FREAKIN IMMEDIATELY. Whoever gets the job will look like a genius because they have no where to go but up. No where to go but up because Kiffin already took us to the core of the earth of stink.

We need to draft d lineman with every pick in the draft. That's what is killing this team. No pass rush at all. These guys have all day to pass and they are exposing our young guys in the secondary. We improved the offensive line this year and the D line needs to be priority this offseason.

This team is done folks. I love them and will watch the games but they can't compete with this D.
