Doesn't matter. He was tackled and going down. It was stupid. Have to play within the rules. Regardless if we like them or not.

There is no rule that says you can't hit a player who is not yet on the ground if he has not slid or otherwise given himself up. Burrow was still up and going head first trying to get the first down. Running backs take that hit 20 times a game and there's no call. When the QB has the ball under his arm and is not sliding he is a runner.. Period.

It was definitely a penalty because Burrow was tackled. It was bang bang, and it looked worse than it was because he was near the head, but a top QB will always get that call while a RB would never.

That 1st Cowboys drive is what it looks like when your QB can read a defense.

Maybe he has a lot more time in the pocket. But that is not in your wheelhouse agenda.

I love our pass coverage scheme that let's teams' receivers sit down for an easy 7-8 yards without a defender in five yards of them.

Burrowd was going down as a runner, defender didn't lead with helmet. It was a bad call. NFL and their stupid protect the qb flags. Dumb
